I post a power versus time graphic for a solar type III/2 event, as reported by Wes Greenman, observed from his Alachua Radio Observatory in Florida.
Type III/2 is a significant event, this is the SWPC intensity scale: 1=Minor, 2=Significant, 3=Major. I guess 2 is perhaps 10 times more powerful than 1, but it may be a matter of judgement at USAF Second Weather Squadron Solar Observatories, and is frequency dependent.
The Sagamore Hill observation was reported in the 24 to 180 MHz band.
The red trace used a standard Radio JOVE two dipole array at 20.1 MHz.
Beautiful chart !!
