S130513 1607 UTC - X2.8 flare, radio emission, and SID ionospheric opacity increase, during Jovian observing run at Nancay

The Nancay Decametric Array was pointing at Jupiter (with delay and phase adjustments, the array of 144 conical spirals is fixed), but the radio emission was very strong and shows well !

Many thanks to the Taxpayers of France, the Nancay Decametric Array Team at the Nancay Radio Astronomy Station of Paris Observatory, NOAA SWPC, Solar Dynamics Observatory, and LMSAL Laboratory.
