S130529 2233 UTC - Type III/3 burst observed by the Long Wavelength Array All Sky Imager Experiment

This was NOAA SWPC event 8200 started by a C2.9 flare that peaked at 2236 UTC.

The GFFRADIO receiver designed by Guillermo Figueroa Ferrari XE1GFF

Good morning from Albuquerque New Mexico,

The purpose of this receiver design is to have many students being able to assemble their own, at a very affordable price. The current basic kit costs less than 20 dollars.

Future kits will include a printed circuit board, enclosure, and full instructions, perhaps available in late 2013.

S130513 1607 UTC - X2.8 flare, radio emission, and SID ionospheric opacity increase, during Jovian observing run at Nancay


The Nancay Decametric Array was pointing at Jupiter (with delay and phase adjustments, the array of 144 conical spirals is fixed), but the radio emission was very strong and shows well !
